Ken Thompson has a long history of service to the funeral industry, beginning in 1974 by supplying funeral transport to the local joiners/undertakers in the area.
In 1994 Ken and his daughter, Dawn, established Ken Thompson Funeral Directors providing the local community with a personal and sympathetic service. Dawn was successful in gaining the industry’s recognised qualification, the ‘Diploma in Funeral Directing’ in 1999.
In 2015, Fergus Court Funeral Services and Ken Thompson came together under one umbrella with Dawn carrying on the role as funeral director. The business continues to operate from the same premises in Pickering, North Yorkshire.
